"Acclimatize in Manang"
I had toast with peanut butter and eggs for breakfast. We had a great hike to gain altitude. We went up past the Gangapurna Lake and up towards the glacier, then up past the tea stop to a small village. Very high above Manang, over 4000 meters. It is snowing. We found a small block of ice and I was able to ice down my leg once we got back to the hotel. For lunch I had a big tuna sandwich, then went and did some emails home. We organized a few people and went to see another movie. (Luke and Lucy, Leo and Daniel, Ananda and the three of us) This place is down a few narrow alley ways and into a barn type structure. Inside there was a few benches, a yak skin rug, which Lucy chose to lay on and a TV with a wall of dusty old VHS tapes. We watched "Touching the Void". It was just OK but it was indeed fun. Back at the hotel after heading through the heavy snowfall, we all had yak fajitas with rum and hot chocolate.
