"Dharapani to Danagyu"

Cooler start to the day. Brock is still fucked (sore upper legs and groin muscles) and I am getting worried. He has admitted that he underestimated how hard this would be. I talked with Alan about options as I wonder how much longer he can go on like this. We booked into a place in the first village we came to, about 45 to 50 minutes from Dharapani, as the call was made to give Brock a rest day to heal. I was a bit pissed off until Ananda and I decided to walk all the way to Chame for lunch and then hike back. What an awesome day! We blasted the whole way to Chame just to eat lunch. It took 3 hours to get there and about 2 ½ hours to get back. I had a potato curry, vegetable, egg and cheese dish which was great. The hike up is hard and we gain a lot of altitude, everything looks different on the top of the climb, the trees, plants etc. Great views of Manaslu and Annapurna II. Brock and Alan both seemed much better when I got back. They even got our dirty laundry done. Perhaps it is a good call to stop. I just need to relax and suck it up, I am just so excited and pumped to hit the trail and sometimes lose track of the big picture. Brock will be fine and Alan and I will do whatever it takes to make sure everyone makes it. We had dinner and everyone came to watch a Nepali movie in the dining area, it seems to be a real meeting place here. It was really cool watching TV with everyone gathered around, while the woman cooked our meal. We thought it was funny that the TV was still sitting in its Styrofoam packing. We met two Americans who work as park rangers in Colorado, they seem nice. They are using a Steri pen to purify their water.
