"One of the top ten classic treks in the world!"

How it Started

This trip was the brain child of Alan Magar (my brother-in-law). He was the one who first mentioned to me, about a year ago, that he was planning on going to Nepal for a month and doing the Annapurna trek with his usual adventure travel partner Craig. I jokingly, at the time, said that I would love to go with him as it sounded like the trip of a lifetime, knowing full well that it would be near impossible for me to go. His wife's brother, John, was also told about the trip, and he said he wanted to go as well.

A year later and WOW!! The plane tickets are bought, and the trip is a reality...All possible, for me, because of a fantastic and understanding wife, who said one day about a month ago: "You really have to go."

The Travelers

As of today (July 15th, 2009) there are just three of us going: Alan Magar, John McLean, and myself Brock Brown....The Brother-in-Laws! Craig is unfortunately unable to go now.
